Coronavirus (COVID-19)
We are working in diverse locations and have full access to all our remote support systems.
COVID-19 (Coronavirus) update from Decisive:IT
Amid the very fast developing COVID-19 ("Coronavirus") situation, we would like to reassure you about the actions we are taking to enable our normal business activities to continue. We will be reviewing the official guidance on an ongoing basis, but for now, it is very much business as usual in the way we support you remotely and we will continue to do this. Our team are currently working from multiple disparate locations effectively isolated from each other to minimise the risk of cross transmission; we have full access to all our telephones, email and computer systems remotely and anticipate being able to operate as far as possible as if we were in the office.
In this uncertain time we will continue to support your home based users as if they are office based if required, however if they are using their own “home” machines we will do our best to help with any connectivity issues they come across.
If you have users that require to work from home and you haven’t already achieved this please don’t hesitate to contact us for assistance.
The safety of our customers, colleagues and suppliers
Safety of course remains our highest priority. To make sure our customers, colleagues and suppliers stay safe within our office we are ensuring that cleaning and hygiene protocols are even more rigorous than usual. All of our colleagues are following personal hygiene guidance and being asked to regularly wash their hands. We currently have access to alcohol based hand sanitisers within our office for customers, colleagues and suppliers to use, and we are regularly cleaning door handles, credit/debit card machines and all of our public areas.
We have now stopped all physical non critical business meetings taking place until further notice, including non-delivery visits from suppliers, training and face to face meetings. Instead, we are conducting those sessions using conference calls, phone and video calls where possible. We are taking this approach as a proactive preventative measure.
What about stock levels?
We are in constant dialogue with our suppliers and at the moment are not experiencing any supply concerns. That situation might change and if it does, we will keep you fully informed. 18/03/2020 – As of this morning we are being told of various delivery restrictions and stock availability.
What about deliveries?
We are asking for your help where we are making deliveries, especially if that might be to a home where people are self-isolating. If that is the situation, please do keep us informed, and be prepared that our delivery will have to change to the front door or kerbside.
